Strings and Spokes, Spokes and Spaghetti

call it what you will

People who travel exhibit two styles of travel. We call them Spoke and String. Or Spoke and Spaghetti.

A spoke is a trip from a central hub. And back. Again and again, until your trips give the appearance of spokes on a wheel of indeterminate size. We have a feature that enables you to easily create spoke-type mileage entries. You can do this easily by simply declaring the trip to be a roundtrip. Now your trip returns to the point where it started – two trips for the effort of one!

A string is…well, a string is a string. It’s the travel style of people who leave their hub and go to a bunch of places before returning. Like the FedEx driver. And it looks… well, kinda maybe looks like you dropped a piece of spaghetti on the counter. Or not. Doesn’t matter. We like Spoke and Spaghetti. But you can call ’em strings, too. They’re interchangeable. For strings, you just create trips as they occur. For you procrastinators, you can enter all of them at once. How cool is that? Learn how to create a “new string“…
